On SUN, 6 NOV 2016, from 4 - 8 PM, members and guests danced to Irish and international tunes played by Frankie Lees accompanied by Mary G. at St. Patrick's auditorium, 4th Avenue and 97th Street, Brooklyn. Donal Nolan and Kiernan Hamilton sang several musical numbers to the accompaniment of guitar and tin pipe.
Coffee, tea, beer, soda and Irish soda bread were served.
The Club honored Peter Lovett. Peter was instrumental in arranging for the dedication of a monument to Commodore John Barry in Commodore Barry Park, Brooklyn. He also served as Treasurer of the Club for many years. He currently works as Recreation Director for the Bay Ridge Senior Citizens Center and has distinguished himself through his dedication and leadership.
Senator Marty Golden, Councilman Vincent Gentile and Diana Goodman of the Fort Hamilton Senior Center Council joined in the festivities and presented Peter with honors.
